What is a Pack & Go Special?
For guests who are able to depart quickly, there can be from time to time good values on close-in sailings which still have some limited availability. Waiting for a Pack & Go Special is not advised if you really want to visit particular ports of call, travel on a particular cruise line, or want a particular type of cabin, e.g. Balcony, Oceanview etc. To guarantee those choices, you must book early.
Also, if you are travelling in a group or with family, it is almost always better to book early due to very limited availability for those cabins which have 3 or 4 beds.
How does it work? What type of cabin will I get?
Pack & Go Specials are usually ‘Guarantee’ cabins, which means you don’t get a particular cabin number when you book. Instead, the cruiseline guarantees that you will be given a cabin when you board which is at least that of the category you have booked. Requests for particular deck, location such as midships, forward etc. cannot usually be made. If you want a particular location, you should book early.
If however you are flexible on your cabin type, its location on board, the cruise line you go with, and the ports of call you visit, then Pack & Go Specials can offer great values.
What about booking and payment?
Pack & Go Specials, by their very nature, are very limited in availability and can sell out quickly. The key to getting a great deal is to be ready to book straight away if you find a cruise you like. Waiting a day or two will often mean the space you want is gone! For sailing dates within 90 days, full payment for the trip plus any applicable travel insurance premiums must be paid at the time of booking.
Prices below are per person based on double occupancy, and are in USD unless specified.
